Alpine SleepDeep earplugs have a medium noise reduction rating (SNR) of 27 dB. These earplugs muffle disturbing noises, making it easier to fall asleep and preventing you from waking up easily. In addition, SleepDeep contains Alpine noise-reducing gel for maximum noise reduction.

SleepDeep:

SleepDeep earplugs have an average attenuation (SNR) of 27 dB. With these earplugs, disturbing noises are muffled, making it easier to fall asleep and preventing you from waking up easily. The innovative earplugs are made of a specially designed thermoplastic material: AlpineThermoShape.

Minigrip

SleepSoft earplugs now feature a unique Minigrip tip. This handy grip makes it easy to remove the earplugs. Minigrip is small, inconspicuous and made of soft material. This means that even the side pads will not interfere with your sleep.

Snoring

Snoring can be very loud, even exceeding 95 dB. That is as loud as a pop concert! Despite using earplugs, you will probably still hear this type of snoring, but much quieter. It does not matter which earplugs you use.

If you want the highest possible noise reduction, we recommend that you visit your local ear care specialist to have custom earplugs made. The advantage of these is that they fit perfectly because they are an exact copy of your ear canal and completely seal your ears.

How do earplugs not completely block out all noise?

Sound is conducted in two ways: through the air and through bone.

Our skull also picks up sound vibrations. This is called bone conduction. Through bone conduction, our eardrum vibrates, allowing us to perceive sound; we can hear it. Therefore, sound can never be completely blocked, only by blocking the ear canal.
